Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and vendors according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, entrances, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious conditions or maintenance concerns per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift communications while maintaining professionalism.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and tenants with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail and mixed-use property.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, entrances, parking facilities, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and providing directions or assistance to visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
