Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Prevention at our Sacramento, CA location. You will monitor and patrol facilities, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while upholding our people-first culture.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and eligibility for applicable licenses. Schedule includes multiple shifts; pay is $19.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support the orderly movement of people and vehicles throughout the location while maintaining a professional and customer-focused presence.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
