Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and report incidents while complying with driver policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license; guard card/license, CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred. Minimums include HS diploma and background check; drug screening may be required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors and staff with exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $20.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
