As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, policy concerns, and potential loss prevention-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
