Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Full Time Unarmed Driving Operations in Austin, TX. You will monitor and patrol tech campus areas, support access control, and deliver excellent customer service while representing Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and teamwork.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driving Operations in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to help deter security-related incidents while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people‑first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology campus, including buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report access concerns, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance issues in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Complete clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
