Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Austin, TX. You will protect government locations, perform patrols, monitor access points, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. This driving role emphasizes strong communication and customer service in a welcoming environment.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour. Schedule includes day and night shifts across multiple days.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity per site procedures, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
