Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Fairfax, VA. You will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, provide excellent customer service to patients and staff, and support a secure environment.

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving while maintaining patient privacy.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, observations, patrols, and security activities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control activities, visitor management, and direction-giving while maintaining a professional presence and respecting patient privacy.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
