Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and according to protocols.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report unusual conditions and hazards to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and maintain professional communication with leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM; Tue 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM; Wed 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM; Thur 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM; Fri 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity; report unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and maintain professional communication with facility personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
