Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Moore, SC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to security concerns while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year security experience, a clean background, and the ability to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and report events according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with directing guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
