Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Support) to safeguard clients across tech/media/telecom locations. You will patrol, monitor access points, and deliver outstanding customer service using tablets to support daily operations.

The role emphasizes a visible presence, incident reporting, and collaboration with site contacts. Candidates should be 18+, HS diploma, pass background checks and comply with drug screening.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, technology spaces, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
