Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Officer Unarmed in Seneca, SC. This part-time role involves patrolling, customer service, and enforcing safety procedures to protect employees and visitors.

You will support a dynamic campus environment with a focus on professionalism, reliability, and clear communication, using company tools to claim shifts and manage scheduling.

Qualifications

• Have at least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout campus buildings and facilities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed by procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and security concerns.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
