Job summary

Allied Universal in Moore, SC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed to protect and assist the people and property at a technology-focused site. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with site leadership, documenting activities, and maintaining a visible safety presence.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Moore, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Tue: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report events according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with directing guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
