Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol in Alabaster, AL. You will safeguard clients across healthcare settings, conducting patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour. You will monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and document activities.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have X-Ray screening experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
