Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.

• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery operations in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting a professional environment for all site occupants.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
