Allied Universal is seeking a Front Desk Security Officer in Mountain View, CA. You will greet visitors, verify IDs, manage access control, and provide courteous service while adhering to site procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring cameras, alarms, and logs, plus responding to incidents per established protocols. Must have at least 1 year in security; CPR/First Aid preferred; High School diploma required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing laws may apply.

• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a technology, media, and telecommunications location, greeting visitors and directing them according to site-specific procedures.
• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and notifying appropriate personnel of arrivals.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor front-desk communications, access-control systems, alarms, and cameras as assigned, and report unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
