Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, and potential security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $20.40 - $21.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
