As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Unarmed Patrol Assignment in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service while responding to concerns and reporting observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at a government services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, entrances, common areas, and parking locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff activity in accordance with site policies, helping to support an orderly environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
