• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and report suspicious persons or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events, coordinating with school personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain logs, and communicate security information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, or conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate school personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain daily activity logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
