Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol in Wayne, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Driving Security Officer supporting a government education location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will report observations, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, check visitor credentials as required, and maintain awareness of persons entering or leaving the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
