As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or other individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral health-related situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and other security-related support needs in a respectful healthcare environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and responses accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
