• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related events.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Customer Relations in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control and badge activities, and provide exceptional customer service. Use computer or tablet tools to support daily operations while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
