Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE. You will safeguard clients across industries, perform routine patrols, control access, and document activity while maintaining a strong customer service presence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain accurate documentation of activity and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruption through professional presence and timely reporting.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
