• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation in accordance with site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Reconciliation in Totowa, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use clear communication and technology tools while working collaboratively with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control/badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
