Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial services location by following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building, grounds, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and document entries and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and following emergency procedures.
• Communicate clearly with site representatives, responders, and Allied Universal leadership about incidents and daily activities.

Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in Florence, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, incidents, and observations as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate clearly with site representatives, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, concerns, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
