As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Patrol in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM / Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM / Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM / Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and employee/vendor access in accordance with site-specific requirements, documenting observations and incidents accurately.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity while supporting a positive experience for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
