Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and assist with emergency response procedures as directed.
• Maintain a visible professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity while communicating respectfully with occupants and supporting a welcoming environment.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
