Shifts are set on Fri, Sat, and Sun with a flexible schedule using the Claim a Shift platform. Prior security and customer service experience is valued, with CPR and licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while following site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, data areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor entry/exit, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and document access and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts and responders.
• Deter unauthorized activity through presence, patrols, and timely reporting.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, data areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, patrol activity, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
