Job summary

Allied Universal in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Overnight logistics center patrol. You will monitor premises, perform routine patrols, manage access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional, courteous service to employees and visitors.

As an unarmed patrol at a busy logistics site, you will complete detailed reports, maintain logs, and support a safe, welcoming environment.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, control access, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, access-related events, incidents, and other site observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
