Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background checks and drug screening will be completed as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and situations; notify appropriate personnel and complete reports.
• Observe shipping/receiving operations and report security concerns.

As a Security Officer Logistics Facility Patrolin San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe shipping and receiving operations for security-related concerns, help maintain orderly traffic flow, and report damaged barriers, lighting issues, or other site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
