Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Airport Logistic Facility in San Diego, CA. Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Background checks/background investigations required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver credentials as required, and maintain logs of entries, exits, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency procedures and coordinating with leadership.
• Report security-related concerns, suspicious activity, property damage, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Airport Logistic Facility in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
