Armorous is seeking a Security Officer for the night shift in Santa Rosa, CA to safeguard properties and deter crime. The role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication while performing tours, access control, and interior/exterior patrols.

Compensation is $21.00 per hour with benefits and opportunities for growth within Armorous, a Best Security Company in the North Bay. This is a full-time, on-site position in Santa Rosa.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
• Current BSIS compliance (8-Hour Initial Training Certificate; 32-hour continuing education).
• Experience working graveyard shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to remain alert, responsive, and proactive in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.

Position/Titles:

• Security Officer for Resort Hotel in Santa Rosa, Ca

Job Description:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc.
Your role requires vigilance, strong decision‑making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. Officers are responsible for conducting hourly tours, ensuring the premises is secure. Access control when checking in and out guests to property, and checking all entrances and exits. The officer is responsible for conducting both exterior and interior patrols of the property. Officers also perform routine lock and unlock duties for designated doors and conduct periodic camera monitoring. While conducting interior patrols, they monitor for noise disturbances and ensure guests comply with established quiet hours.

Compensation:

$21.00 per hour
