Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time Logistics Center in Boise, ID to safeguard clients and maintain access control at a busy logistics site. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents with a calm, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include patrolling, recording activity, coordinating with visitors and staff, and supporting safety procedures while upholding Allied Universal’s standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and control entry and exit for personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity records in accordance with site procedures; issue and collect access credentials as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:
