Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers while following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government social services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, entry points, common areas, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unauthorized access or suspicious conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events with calm, problem-solving approach; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities through required reports, logs, and electronic reporting systems.

As a Security Officer Full Time NYS Licensed Unarmed Patrol Reporting in NEW YORK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location serving community needs. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
