As a Security Officer Full Time NYS Licensed Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and individuals seeking services by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building interiors, entrances, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a government services environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
