Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required, where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control in Bonita Springs, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a premier resort location, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, assisting guests and staff, and responding to security-related concerns. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a private club and resort location.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access, manage visitor and vendor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of club facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access-related issues.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and policy violations through a professional presence, consistent access control practices, and courteous communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
