Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer FT Gate Access in Bonita Springs, FL. You will protect clients by controlling access points, assisting guests, and responding to security concerns with professionalism.

In this role you will patrol the club and nearby areas, verify credentials, maintain logs, and support a welcoming environment for members and staff.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• State/local licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and manage sign-in procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of club facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Deter unauthorized entry through professional presence and courteous communication.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a private club and resort location.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access, manage visitor and vendor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of club facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access-related issues.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and policy violations through a professional presence, consistent access control practices, and courteous communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
