• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry logs, and direct guests per location procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations through accurate reports and timely notifications to supervision and site contacts.

As an Access Control Officer at a retail outlet location, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and assisting visitors and tenants with professionalism. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site personnel. • Tue 08:00 PM - 03:00 AM

• Thur 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM
• Sun 08:00 PM - 03:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry logs, and direct guests according to location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations through accurate reports and timely notifications to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
