Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time CPR Ready Patrol position in Richardson, TX. You will provide customer service to tenants and employees, perform defined site procedures, and maintain security across building interiors and exterior areas.

You will monitor access points, conduct patrols, document observations, and respond to incidents in a calm, solution-focused manner while partnering with site staff and clients.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time CPR Ready Patrol in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for authorized personnel and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and support Allied Universal and client site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
