Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Houston, TX, to protect clients and property. You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service and professional communication.

Valid CPR/First Aid is preferred along with a high school diploma and background check. The role is full-time with a daytime to evening schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards.
• Respond calmly to incidents and notify appropriate personnel and responders.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity per procedures.
• Prepare clear patrol reports and maintain activity logs.

Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with property procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
