Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Richardson, TX with active DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance. The role is full-time, with an hourly pay rate of $19.53, and schedules including overnight and weekend shifts.

You will patrol facilities, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain professional customer service while supporting a compliant, vigilant security posture. A background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and communicating potential security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
