Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Condominium Complex Patrolin San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential community, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, document observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials or authorization as directed by site policies, and report unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while communicating professionally with site management, residents, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
