Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Corporate Campus Patrol in San Diego, CA. You will patrol residential areas, deter unauthorized activity, and deliver professional customer service to residents and visitors.

Requires at least 6 months of security experience, HS diploma or equivalent, and ability to use a computer/tablet. Shift schedule includes day and evening hours with a strong emphasis on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner; communicate observations to site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity per procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation; maintain professional communication with residents and site management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Corporate Campus Patrolin San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet technology, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and maintain professional communication with residents, guests, and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
