• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols and incidents in accordance with site procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. This driving role offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working collaboratively, caring for people, and acting with integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
