As a Security Officer Full Time Apartment Complex Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Thu 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, amenity spaces, and property perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, assisting with access control and directing residents or guests as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or policy concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
