Allied Universal in Monroe, LA is seeking a Part Time Armed Security Officer to safeguard clients at a financial services location. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, deter incidents, respond professionally to alarms, and deliver excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

This armed role requires a valid guard-card, at least 1 year of armed security or related experience, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
