Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government facilities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and personnel. • Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
