Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time Afternoon) for our San Diego logistics center. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service at a tech-focused site.

Work days include afternoons with a consistent schedule in a collaborative environment. You must be 18+ for unarmed roles, have a high school diploma, and be able to pass background and drug screens.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other designated locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.
