Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by applying security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain logs for patrols and incidents.

As a Security Officer Full Time Highrise Building Patrolin San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
