Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government operations location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established emergency procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and concerns.

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

• Tue – 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed – 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Thur – 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri – 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
