What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government services location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, public disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
